The restaurant was clean and inviting. KC,our server was friendly and attentive. I had the Apple French Toast Bake. It was great. I asked for the bacon to be crispy, but it came barely cooked. Everyone was pleasant. This is a good place for locals.

Cracker Barrel is nowhere close to where we live so when we went on a road trip, we had to come here. We had been to the ones in South Carolina and wanted to see how this one was compared to them. We had to sit outside because we had our little dogs with us and it was quite hot and in the sun, but the waitress was super nice and very attentive to our needs. It would've been nice to have some sort of sun umbrellas on that side of the building or put the tables on the other side of the building that would have shade in the afternoon and evening hours, but we were glad to have found a restaurant that would even allow us to sit outside with dogs. The biscuits that came out first were delicious, but a little bit underbaked since they were white and super crumbly. The flavor was buttery and salty and very good, even without putting jam on them. We received our food in a timely manner, and it was all very good. I was really looking forward to fried chicken since I love it so much and it is hard to find in restaurants where we live. This chicken was absolutely perfect. The crust was crunchy and tasty, and the meat was perfectly cooked. I ate two pieces and took two with me because they were so large. The mashed potatoes tasted OK (they were a bit dry, but I did like the peels in them) and the green beans were OK as well, but nothing spectacular. My husband had the pork chops which he really liked. He said the pinto beans were good, but wasn't super impressed with the turnip greens. One of my kids had the chicken fried chicken, which he really loved and could only eat one piece of because it was so much food. He liked the mac & cheese as a side and ate most of the mashed potatoes. My other kid had macaroni and cheese with chicken strips on top which he inhaled. I didn't feel like it was as much food as the other plates but he did like it. We ordered the peach cobbler for dessert and were a bit disappointed because it was quite small and not exactly what we had in mind to share four ways. It tasted more like a few canned peach slices with some vanilla ice cream and dry shortbread cookies on top. The unsweetened iced tea with lemon was very tasty, and the kids loved the lemonade. All in all it was a good meal at a good price, and we were happy that we got to have some great food on our road trip. It didn't taste exactly like the ones in the south do, but it was good enough for our "home-style cooking" fix.

My first time here! I love that the restaurant is attached to a store. The service is super friendly and attentive, and they give complimentary biscuits and corn muffins. The biscuits were fluffy and moist--so good. We started with the biscuit beignets, but they were too thick for my taste. I like my beignets hollow and airy, so these didn't quite hit the mark for me. I ordered Grandma's Sampler Pancake Breakfast with fried chicken, which was boneless (boo). They initially got my pancakes wrong and had to quickly make blueberry ones. When they brought out my correct order, the pancakes felt rushed and undercooked, so I decided to take them home and finish cooking them myself. But the maple syrup in its own cute travel-size glass bottle was a nice touch! The food was satisfying and the portions are huge. If they had more locations, I'd probably choose this place over Denny's or IHOP. It's comfort food at its finest!

Cracker Barrel will always remind me of my childhood! I grew up in the south where my family would go to Cracker Barrel or Denny's every Sunday morning after Mass. I've only ever been for brunch, never for lunch or dinner. I can honestly say I've never had a bad brunch experience at any Cracker Barrel, so I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. I'm guessing they are by people who came when they first opened and were crazy busy, who come during peak weekend times when they are slammed, or come here for dinner. We came on a Monday around 11am and were seated right away. The service was great, our waitress came by several times to check on us throughout the meal. Food came out quickly, probably only 20 mins after we ordered. I got the Grandma's Sampler which came with pancakes (added peach topping), eggs, a sampling of all the meats (ham, bacon, sausage) and a side (I got the hashbrown casserole). This is a massive amount of food for under $15 which is hard to find nowadays! The peach pancakes didn't have whipped cream on top like they were supposed to but they were still delicious. You can't come here and get any side besides the hashbrowns casserole, it is sooo good! The hashbrowns are mixed with cheese, onions, and seasoning. The breakfast meats were all flavorful and the eggs were cooked how I asked. Coffee and iced tea are bottomless. Our total came out to about $35 for a huge breakfast for 2 people which felt like a steal! They have a fun country store for you to shop in before or after your meal, they still carry many of the same products and candies that they did years ago when I grew up coming to Cracker Barrel. I'm so glad I finally tried this new Reno location, it was nostalgic for me and I'm happy to report I still love it as much as I used to all these years later!

Our server Bee was great! Even the manager stopped by to check in. The ham was salty! The hash-brown casserole was BOMB! Pancakes are always on point! Just wish they would invest in flavored creamer, but I substituted it with the Carmel latte and it was delicious. Overall its a good place to stop off the freeway.

First time visiting Cracker Barrel in Reno, was craving some southern style fried chicken and honey ham. Chicken, ham and sides were pretty tasty. Peach iced tea was way too sweet for our liking. Service was great until there was a shift change in between our meal. Drinks stopped coming, no real table service after our server left which was a little disappointing. We asked for a to go box and refills on our drinks and she forgot. We completely understand since it was busy being a Holiday today. Spent over an hour before and after our meal shopping next door. Always fun shopping at Cracker Barrel! **** sorry for blurry pictures, totally just wanted to eat!****
